June Cunningham

June Cunningham, 90, of Danville, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021. She was born on July 1, 1931, the daughter of Howard and Pearl Hearnley and was a lifetime resident of the Danville area. On June 30, 1950, June married the love of her life, Myron Earl Cunningham and they spent many wonderful years together before his passing on July 28, 1992. June is survived by her sons, Randy Lee (Cheri) Cunningham, Jeffrey Earl Cunningham, Scott Eric (Jill) Cunningham; grandchildren, Brian Keith (Rhiannon) Cunningham, Jason Drew (Jody) Cunningham, Amanda Kaitlyn (Chris) Cunningham-Mullins; great-grandchildren, Brian Keith Cunningham Jr., Shaedreah Cunningham, Deborah Cunningham, Leeanalyn Cunningham, Hailie Cunningham, Makinizie George, Haylie George, Paysie Cunningham, Warren Holden, Jonathan Holden; great great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Jozzlynn, Jacquelyn, Nalani; sisters, Imogene Beckley, Joanne Johnson and special friends, Bob and Roberta Cunningham and Betty Hassler.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Bruce Allen Cunningham and brothers, Gerald Hearnley and Stacy Hearnley.

June attended Danville High School. She enjoyed listening to music, whistling, watching westerns, and arts and crafts. June adored her family and will always be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Visitation will be held from 1PM to 2PM on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. A Celebration of her life will be held at 2PM on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at the funeral home. Following the service June will be laid to rest at sunset memorial park.
