June B. Hall

Danville- June B. Hall, 85, of Danville passed away at 4:45 PM on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the Hawthorne Inn of Danville. She was born on December 24, 1929 in Lester, AR to Theodore Roosevelt Bartlett and Blanche Lolita Cromwell Bartlett. She married Richard Hall on January 20, 1948 in Ruston, Louisiana. He survives. Also surviving are a son, David B. (Claudette Kobie) Hall; a daughter, Brenda (James P.) Dawson; grandchildren, Karen Hall Stossmiester of NC, Tim Hall of Austin, TX, Bridgett (David Frazier) Palermo, Heather Munro, and Allen McAlpin; great-grandchildren, Kobie, Donnie, Brandon, and Stacy; and great-great grandchildren Hailey, Alyssa, Aiden, and Brienna. June worked at Tridan Tool as a Comp Controller until her retirement in 1993. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and served as Speaker of the House of the American Medical Assistance in 1973. June loved writing, music, dancing, and playing cards. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening and traveling. Most of all, June loved spending time with her family whom she will be dearly missed by. A memorial gathering for June Hall will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home in Danville. Friends and family are also welcome to gather at the ELKS 322 at 421 N. Vermilion St. in Danville from 1-3 PM on Thursday, June 20, 2013. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
