Juna Lee Milholland

Juna Lee Milholland, 81 of Westville, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 8:36 AM at her home. She was born on April 22, 1935 in Alton, daughter of Larn and Ruby {Danner} Moffitt. Juna married Robert G. Milholland on July 14, 1962 in Danville. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1999. Surviving are her children, Kelli (Nick) Schiro of Westville, David (Carrie) Milholland of Westville, and Jeff Milholland of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Jeffery (fianc, Lauren Tindall) Henry, Emily Schiro, Austin Milholland, Noelle Scharnhorst, Elizabeth Schiro, and Taylor Milholland; close family relative that Juna held dear to her heart, Debbie (Ed) Herndon of Nashville, TN; siblings, Larn (Barb) Moffitt, Jr. of Catlin, Sandy Ryan of Lakeland, FL, Phillip "Butch" Moffitt, and Janice Hendrickson of Veedersburg, IN; special sister-in-law, Judy Milholland; brother and sister-in-law, John and Connie Milholland; aunt, Joyce Thomas; and many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband. Juna was a teller at First National Bank in Westville for over 40 years and retiring in 2000. She was a dedicated member of her church, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Westville. Juna was a noodle lady at the church, member of the Altar and Rosary Society, and loved to volunteer for any need that would arise. She loved her grandchildren and watched them whenever she had the chance. Juna also enjoyed crossword puzzles, knitting, and crafting. Juna was the heart of the family and they will cherish all the laughs they shared and memories they made. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 231 N. State Street, Westville. Fr. Timothy Saupp will officiate. She will be laid to rest at STs. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Westville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society. Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville has been entrusted with arrangements.
