Julie Ann Creviston

Julie Ann Creviston, 68, of Tilton passed away peacefully at her home on January 28, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born July 8, 1953 in Danville to parents Vern and Evelyn "Vickie" Hensley. They preceded her in death.

Julie married Bill Livengood in 1972 and share a daughter together. She then married William "Bill" Creviston in December of 1983. Julie and Bill shared a wonderful 21 years until his untimely passing in July of 2005. Julie graduated from Danville High School class of 71. She enjoyed working as a secretary for most of her life: Myles Young Inc., PMI, Vacketta Construction, and Crowder CPAs.

Julie loved being outdoors and going camping. She made many memories in Wisconsin doing what she loved, fishing with her family. Julie bowled at Bulan's on the T.N.T. Mixed League and at Lincoln Lanes on the Happy Times Mixed League in the early 2000s. She had an incredible talent for cross-stitching, whether it was teaching others the craft or the elaborate pieces she gifted. Julie enjoyed sharing her gift of cross-stitching with the ones she loved; the gorgeous pieces she made will be treasured long after her passing. She looked forward to attending concerts, playing euchre, and watching scary movies. She particularly loved playing Scrabble, 10,000, and Bunco with the club. She was the occasional casino-connoisseur, as well as a collector of shoes and blown glass throughout her lifetime. Julies biggest passion was spending time with her granddaughter Sophia.

Julie will be dearly missed by daughter Jennifer (and husband Robert) Wright, her granddaughter Sophia, her sister Diana Huls and everyone that knew her. She is reunited in death with her husband Bill, her parents, and her loyal dog Lottie June.

A visitation will take place on Monday, February 7, 2022, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, located at 3940 N. Vermilion St., in Danville. A funeral service celebrating her life will follow on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Matt Filicskywill be officiating. She will be laid to rest next to Bill at Greenwood Cemetery in Tilton. Julie has always had a special place in her heart for animals. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to C.A.R.A. animal rescue in Tilton.
