Julie Ann Williams, 43, of Lake Worth, FL passed away at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday February 6, 2007 at her mothers home in Danville. Julie was born on January 2, 1964 to Paul and Linda Morgan Williams. Julie is survived by her mother, Linda Maskel of Danville, IL, one brother, Scott Williams of Fairmount, two step-sisters, Kathy (Doug) McCartney of Chestnut, IL, and Mary Maskel of Chicago, IL, one niece Ashley Williams, one nephew, Bradley Williams, both of Fairmount, Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and MANY VERY SPECIAL FRIENDS. Julie was preceded in death by her father, step-father, maternal and paternal grandparents. Julies life time companions were her dogs Susie, Charlie Brown, and Uncle Royal. Julie graduated from Catlin High School in 1982. Julie was able to make her love of animals her lifes work. Her first job working with horses was for Gordon Hannigan. Julie then went to California to Sunshine Ranch to work with quarter horses. Julie attended Colorado State University and received her Artificial Insemination Degree. She then worked for Hector Galino for twelve years with Polo Horses. The last eight years she worked with Oren Ingram and James Armstrong with Polo Horses. Julie was a Top Honors Groomer. She loved riding, grooming, breeding, training and caring for horses as well as all other animals. Her caring heart also reached out to people. Julie loved traveling, doing the white water rapids, and canoeing down the lazy river. Her home was a vacation heaven for her teenage cousins! A memorial service celebrating the life of Julie will be held at 12 noon on Saturday February 10, 2007 at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home. Pastor James Blue will be officiating the service. A memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday. Memorials may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
