Julian W. Shoaf

Kingman, Ind. - Julian W. Shoaf, 76, of Kingman, passed away at 1:41 p.m. EDT Thursday, July 9, 2015 at his residence. Born November 6, 1938 in Cates, Indiana, he was the son of the late Cedric and Gertrude Lane Shoaf. He married Sarah Regnier on September 14, 1963 in Wallace, Indiana. She preceded him in death on January 8, 2006. Survivors include two daughters, Angie(Chuck)Case of Indianapolis, Indiana and Sandy(Matthew)Reynen of Kingman, Indiana; one son, Roy Shoaf of Kingman, Indiana; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Craig of Indianapolis, Indiana and Sue(Jack)Bennett of Cayuga, Indiana. Julian was preceded in death by his son, Alan Shoaf and infant brother, Donald Shoaf. Julian was a farmer. He was currently working for Little Farms and Walker Farms. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Julian was a 1957 grauduate of Tangier High School. He enjoyed fishing, mushrooming and deer hunting. Per Julian's request there will be no services. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
