Julia Ann Goble

Julia Ann Goble, 66, of Danville passed away on April 14, 2023 at OSF Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born in Rantoul on June 17, 1956 to Ray Maring and Armita Howe Desspenett. Both preceded her in death.

Julia is survived by her husband Dale "Allen" Goble of Danville; sons James (Deana) Maring of Danville and Jeremiah Conrad of Ohio; and her grandchildren Deseray Lewis (Clyde), Tate Maring (Alicia), Britani Maring, Phillip Maring, Randall Maring, Austin Mikel, and Cortney Mikel. She also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren; her sisters Beverly Shuman of Danville and Vicki Conrad of Dayton, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; and her best friend of over 50 years Becky Elharti.

Julia doted on her grandbabies and was never one to hold a grudge. She enjoyed horror movies and her television shows, especially The Golden Girls. As long as she had Mt. Dew or coffee, she was good to go for the day and could be content coloring for hours. She will be missed greatly.

In memorial to Julias love for animals (notably cats), donations in her name may be made to the Vermilion County Animal Shelter in Tilton. A celebration of Julias life will take place on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 1- 4 pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, located at 3940 N. Vermilion Street in Danville. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded prior. Please share condolences and fond memories with her family on her Tribute Wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com
