Judy 'Dian' Boyle

Danville Judy Dian Boyle, 61, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at her home in Danville, IL. She was born on February 17, 1961 in Marion, VA to Floyd Lee and Elaine (Fleenor) Childers. Dian married John Boyle, Sr. on September 7, 2004 in Danville, IL.

Dian is survived by her children Nathan Phipps and Joshua (Angela) Phipps; grandchildren Elijah and Elizabeth; siblings Jimmy (Susie) Childers of Collison, IL, Roger (Nancy) Childers of Champaign, IL, Dale (Becky) Childers of Crawfordsville, IN, and Michael (Tiffany) Childers of Danville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Dian loved her grandkids more than anything. She enjoyed baking, collecting house plants, and watching B-horror movies. Dian worked at the Danville VA Medical Center for 28 years.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N Vermilion Street, Danville, IL 61834. Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the funeral home. Cremation will follow. Graveside committal at Danville National Cemetery will be held at a future date.
