Judy Ann Munro

Judy Ann Munro, 77, of Mattoon, IL, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021. She was born on April 8, 1944, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Judy married Donald G. Munro Sr. on October 26, 1963, and they spent 56 wonderful years together before his passing in November of 2019.

Judy is survived by her grandchildren, Donald (Chris) Munro III, Chase Munro, Joseph Munro, Rebekah (Josh) James; great-granddaughters, Vivian, Brianna and siblings, Bonnie Irwin, and Bob Hewitt.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Donald Munro Jr.

Judy attended Grape Creek Baptist Church. She loved baking for her church and grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending her time with loved ones.

A Celebration of Judys life will be held at 11am on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Grape Creek Baptist Church 13658 Grape Creek Rd, Danville, IL, with Pastor David Leary officiating. Judy will be laid to rest at Danville National Cemetery. Visitation will be held the evening prior on October 27, 2021 from 4pm to 6pm, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834.
