Judith Schultz Judith Arlene Padgitt Schultz, 73, of Danville, passed away at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois on Sunday, September 24, 2006 at 1:30 a.m. Judith was born on July 12, 1933 in Fountain County, IN, to Lockett and Catherine Mettee Padgitt. She married James Alan Schultz on August 10, 1963 in Danville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on August 12, 1985. Judiths grandparents, Harry and Jane Padgitt of Veedersburg raised her. She worked for Heatcraft in Danville, Illinois for 38 years from 1957-1995. Judith and Jim had belonged to the Vermilion Hills Country Club of Danville, Illinois. Judith enjoyed playing golf, bingo, playing cards, going to gambling boats and spending time with her many friends. Survivors include: a sister, Carolyn Saltsgaver of Perrysville, Indiana; nieces, Pam Siddens and Barbara Allen; nephews, Duane Saltsgaver, Mark Saltsgaver, Steve Allen, Dennis Allen and Robby Allen; great-nieces, Kaylee Siddens and Bailey Saltsgaver; great-nephews, Matthew Saltsgaver and Shane Siddens and many other great nieces and nephews. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, Laura Jane, on September 10, 1970, step-father, Lowell Allen, and special friend, Dale Murphy. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., EDT, Friday, September 29, 2006, at Sunsets Covington Chapel, 420 3rd Street, in Covington, Indiana, Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery in Danville, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, September 29, 2006, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Judiths name to the American Cancer Society.
