Judith Reed

Judith Reed, 77, of Danville passed away at 12:05 PM, Saturday, July 14, 2018 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville surrounded by her family. She was born in Danville, IL the daughter of Harold and Josephine Reed on July 19, 1940. They precede her in death. She is survived by her son, Douglas Wayne Reed; two sisters, Sally Ann (Phillip) Reed and Gladys Delphia Miller; along with many nieces and nephews. Judith worked at Chuckles in Danville, IL for many years. She started at Chuckles when she was 17 years old and worked until they closed their doors. One of Judith's hobbies included bowling, she always had a good time while bowling. She was a family woman. She especially loved spending time with her family and the people she loved. Judith was a very good mother to Douglas, he will miss her dearly. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Officiating will be Pastor Jeremy Zerkle. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2 PM at the funeral home.
