Judith Larson

Judith Jean Larson, 74 of Oakwood, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at 1:15 PM at Presence United Samaritans Center in Danville. She was born May 29, 1942 in Milwaukee, WI to Herman and Esther (Tuchowski) Buske. She married Elroy Larson on August 30, 1958 in Milwaukee, WI. He preceded her in death on February 23, 2016. Surviving are her children; Jeffery Larson of Oakwood, Carey (Judy Sturgeon) Larson of Danville, Robert (Sarah) Larson of Danville, Susan (Tony) Sturgeon of Jacksonville, FL, Steven (Kim) Larson of Bismarck, James Larson of Austin, Texas, Kirk Larson of Bismarck, and Jody Roderick of Villa Grove; grandchildren, Laura, Matthew, Kimberly, Eric, Jessica, Kara, Brad, Amanda, Shannon, Julia, Jenna, Megan, and Mitchell; one great grandchild on the way; sister, Chris (Alex) Figuero of Milwaukee, WI; as well as many other friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, daughter, Yvonne Larson and brother, Robert Buske. Judy was a very compassionate person. She loved her birds and her dogs. She was a very giving person and actively gave to The Humane Society and The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Most of all Judy loved her family and would do anything for her children and grandchildren. A Celebration of Judy's life will be held at 1 PM, Monday, June 13, 2016 at Sunset's Oakwood Chapel. Rod Godley will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 - 1 PM, Monday, June 13, 2016 prior to services at the funeral home.
