Judith 'Judy' Hicks

Judith A. Judy Hicks, 66 of Danville, passed away at 3:30am on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born on September 4, 1941, in Danville, the daughter of Jesse and Winifred Hicks Lockard. On April 5, 1958, Judy married Mr. Fredric L. Klein Jr. He survives along with their three daughters; Kathryn Klein (Michael) Porter, LeAnn (Louie) Fullen, and Shelly Klein (Mark) Smith. Her seven grandchildren; Jerry Daniel Porter, Eric Joseph Klein, Ellenann Fullen, Loujack Fullen, Noah Smith, Olivia Smith, Hannah Smith, her great-grandson; Toby Daniel Porter, and her brother; James (Joann) Lockard, as well as her aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews. Judy will also be missed by her special friend; Marilyn Cunningham. Her mother, Winifred precedes Judy in death. Judy was a member of the Bowman Avenue Methodist Church in Danville, and a graduate from Danville Area Community College. She enjoyed making crafts, working in her flower garden, reading, creative writing, bird watching, and being with her family. Judys family would like to thank the staff at Colonial Manor Nursing Home for the exceptional care, compassion, and love given during her stay.
