GEORGETOWN - Judith Judy L. Chantos, 61, of Georgetown, passed away at 8:10pm, Sunday, November 18, 2007, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL. She was born on September 11, 1946, in Watseka, IL, the daughter of Wilbur and Lolita (Vaillancourt) Gocken. She married Joseph Chantos on April 20th, 1963, at St. Isaac Jogues Church of Georgetown. He survives of Georgetown. Others who will miss her include: her son, Joe D. (Gretchen Gilbreath) Chantos of Georgetown; her daughter, Jackie (Mark) Biggs of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Brittany (Brock) Barrett, Alexis Briggs, and Zechariah Chantos, all of Georgetown; her soon-to-be-born great grandchild; her brother, Dan (Mary Ellen) Gocken of Georgetown; her sister, Sue Otis of Mason, MI; her many nieces & nephews; and her numerous friends. Her father, her mother-in-law, & her father-in-law preceded her in death. Judy was beautician for many years. She was a member of St. Marys Church of Westville. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, & doing yard work. She had a very giving heart and spent her life caring for others. She cherished her grandchildren. The Celebration of Life service for Judy will begin at 10:00am, Saturday, November 24, 2007, at St. Marys Church in Westville. Father Dick Brunskill has been asked to do the service. A visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday, November 23, 2007, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown. A Rosary will be held at 3:30pm at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in St. Peter & Pauls Cemetery in Westville. Memorial donations may be given in her name to Breast Cancer Research-American Cancer Society, 2509 S.
