Judith Hewerdine

Judith K. Woodcock Hewerdine 72, of Rantoul, IL. went to be the Lord on Monday, August 21, 2023, at her home in Rantoul, IL. She was born in Urbana, IL. on March 9, 1951, the daughter of Richard and Merrie Woodcock.

She married Maynard Hewerdine on July 27,1967 in Tolono IL. he survives. She is also survived by her brothers, Roger Woodcock (Lucy) of Glasgow, KY., Rodney Woodcock of Fisher, IL., Randy Woodcock (Paula) of Litchfield, KY. children, Matthew Hewerdine (Cathy) of Charleston, IL., Jason Hewerdine (Melissa White) of Clinton, IL., David Hewerdine (Amanda) of Paxton, IL., Mary James (Scott) of Fisher, IL, 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 13 nieces and nephews and 26 great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Thomas Woodcock.

Judith was a homemaker, banquet server and worked in home healthcare from 1995 and retired in 2006; she was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Tolono.

Memorials may be made in her name to the First Baptist Church of Tolono 204 W. Holden St. Tolono, IL. 61880.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 29, 2023 from 10am-12pm at First Baptist Church of Tolono 204 W. Holden St. 61880. A service will follow at 12pm. Dr. Reverend Michael Frazier will be officiating. Judith will be interred at Bailey Cemetery in Tolono.
