Judith Ghibaudy

Judith Ghibaudy, 81, of Westville, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville. She was born on March 26, 1938, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Homer and Alberta {Lappin} Trosper. She was united in marriage to Ernest Ghibaudy on December 28, 1957 and enjoyed over 61 years together. He will miss her dearly.

Judith is also survived by her children, Nancy (Fred) Dreyer of Indianapolis, IN, & Michael (Michelle) Ghibaudy of Westville; her grandchildren, Ryan (Samantha) Ghibaudy of Westville, Ashley Newell of Indianapolis, Warren Dreyer of Westville, & Jared "JJ" Dreyer of Westville; her great grandchildren, Carter & Chloe Ghibaudy of Westville; her sister, Margaret Johnson; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Judith enjoyed growing flowers and going to rummage sales. She was also known a Chicago Cubs fan. She attended St. Marys Catholic Church and enjoyed helping raise her grandkids. She will be remembered by those whose lives she touched.

Memorial services will be held at a later time. AS were her wishes, she was accorded cremation rites. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, located at 414 S State ST, assisted her family with arrangements. Memorial donations may be given in her name to the Westville Fire Department, St. Marys Church, or Ronald McDonalds House.
