Judith Ann Watson

Judith Ann {Mycroft} Watson, of Covington, passed away at 1:54am, Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at The Waters of Covington. She was born July 14, 1945, in Covington, the daughter of Herschel and Mary Ellen {Walter} Mycroft. Judith married Gene Watson on March 21, 1988, until his passing in June 2004. She is survived by her son, Rob D. (Crystal) Williams of Covington; her grandchildren, Kaylee, Michael, & Justin; her great grandchildren, Brailynn, Daven, Zayden, with one on the way, Eleanor; her many nieces and nephews, as well as several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother. She graduated Covington Community Schools. She later graduated from Indiana State University with a B.S. and M.S. in General Education & Special Education in 1983 and 1985. She worked in Indianapolis at the State House in 1963 through 1964, Southmont High School and second elementary schools in 1983-84, Covington School district 1984 through 2006, when she retired. Judith loved her dog, Boots, and going shopping. She loved travelling with her parents and her husband. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, December 17, 2021, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Covington. Memorial donations may be given in her name to OSF Cancer Center, Danville, IL. Her arrangements were entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Covington, Indiana 420 3rd St. Covington, Indiana 47932.
