Juanita Sue Allison

Juanita Sue (Brasker) Allison was born on April 24, 1944, and passed away on February 5, 2024, at 79 years of age. She was the 6th child born in a family of 8 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Garnet Brasker; her husband of 50 years, Jeffrey Allison; five siblings, Garland, Ronnie, Alice Payne, Merrille, Debbie Crawford and her beloved in-laws Bus and Marie Allison. Surviving Juanita Sue are 2 sisters, Margaret Summers and Donna Hale (Jerry); brother-in-law, Joe Allison (Cindy); and dear family friend, Brenda Metzger. She also is survived by many nephews and nieces whom she dearly loved.

She graduated from Seeger High School in 1962. Sue and her husband, Jeff, were well known in the Covington community. They were long-time owners of the Covington Standard Service Station. Sue worked for Hyster/Yale in Danville IL for 43 years. She was a member of the Tri Kappa Sorority and the Coffeenians. She enjoyed line dancing, bowling, and decorating her lovely home in Covington. She loved the Lord and was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Covington IN.

A celebration of Sues life will be held at 11 am EST on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at First Baptist Church, 515 6th Street in Covington, Indiana 47932. Pastor Andy Harkleroad will officiate. She will be buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Covington following services. Visitation will take place at the Church on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 5pm 8pm EST. Sues family has entrusted Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Covington with handling the arrangements.
