Juanita M. Proietti

Juanita M. Proietti 84 of Danville passed away at 3:50 pm Monday November 7, 2005 at V.A. Illiana Health Care System. She was born February 27, 1921 in Terre Haute, IN the daughter of James and Thelma Eck Beck. She married Edmond Proietti on July 22, 1974 in Champaign, IL he survives also two sons Michael (Mary) Carter and Scott (Pam) Carter both of Topeka Kansas, Two step-sons Gary Proietti of Danville and Garth (Lori) Proietti of Austin, TX, a step-daughter Kathleen (Greg) Hall of Stephens, Virginia, one sister Frances Young of York, Pa, also sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Juanita worked as a secretary for Lauhoff, Quaker Oats, Robintech and ESCO all in Danville and also for the Vermilion County Courthouse. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Juanita was a member of the Elks Club # 332 and enjoyed dancing, watching game shows, baseball and was also an avid reader.
