Juanita L. (Stout) Ribbe, 94, of Danville, passed away at 6:00 am Friday, April 5th, 2012, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born in Feb. 23, 1919, in Peoria, the daughter of George and Ada (Snyder) Stout. She was married to Cecil E. "Bud" Ribbe on March 28, 1937. Cecil passed away November 30, 2010. Juanita is survived by her two children, Jim (Ramona) Ribbe and Sandy (Bob) Weaver both of Danville. She is proceeded in death by her foster son Larry (Michele) Pattison of Pasadena, Ca. and one niece, Joann (Dean) Bowman of Danville. Juanita is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Her parents; 3 sisters and 2 brothers proceeded Juanita in death. Juanita graduated from Danville High School. After school, Juanita went to work for Eisner-Jewel Grocery. She eventually became district manager of the Bakery Department. Juanita worked for Eisner for 25 years. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Danville. Juanita loved nothing more than helping people and spending time with her family. A celebration of Juanita's life will begin with a visitation for family and friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, with service immediately following on Monday, April 8th at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life of Celebration Home, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL. She will be entombed at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Memorial contributions may be made in Juanita's name to the Bethal Lutheran Church.
