Juanita Johnson, 76, of Hegeler passed away at 7:33 p.m. Sunday April 25, 2004 at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home. She was born on February 14, 1928 in Fairview, WV, the daughter of Lawrence and Macy Price Tennant. She married Joseph S. Lough on October 18, 1947 in West Virginia. He preceded her in death on October 12, 1970. She later married Lawrence Johnson in July of 1972 in Fairmount. He survives. Survivors include: two daughters, Charlotte Duckett of Nashville, TN and Brenda (Jack) Harrold of Georgetown; three stepsons, Larry Eugene Johnson of Tilton, Ricky Ray (Betty) Johnson of Tilton, and David (Miranda) Johnson of Indianapolis, IN two sisters, Martha Jane Gallagher of Fairview, WV, and Doris (Allen) Simpson of Wana, WV; one half brother, Joseph Tennant of Fairview, WV; four grandchildren, Daniel (Sherry) Bushor Jr. of Crawfordsville, IN, Troy Duckett of Nashville, TN, Cynthia Shepard of Danville, and Christine Anderson of Indiana; four step grandchildren, Brian Johnson of Rossville, Nick Barrett of Illinois, Bobby Barrett of Danville, and Chad Barrett of Kokomo, IN; five great grandchildren, Kristan, Dustin, Melani, Shaylee, and Kaylin. She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and a stepdaughter, Louella Marie Brandon. Juanita graduated from Clay Batelle High School in West Virginia. She worked at Estad Products and Quaker Oats. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and quilting. She also enjoyed gardening and planting flowers.
