JUANITA JANE PITTS Juanita Jane Pitts, 71, of Danville, passed away at 7:03 a.m. Sunday, December 5th, 2010 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center. Juanita was born on January 24th, 1939 in Danville, the daughter of Robert L. and Clara J. (Hicks) Boyer Sr. She is survived by her brother- Robert Boyer Jr. of Mountain Home, Arkansas; uncle- Freeman Buddy Hicks of Danville; special niece- Terri Cramer of Danville; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, aunt- Louise Hicks, and great-niece- Amber Fox. Juanita graduated from Danville High School in 1957. She served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959. She enjoyed doing crafts and was a dedicated Tony Stewart fan and Anaheim Angels fan. She also enjoyed spending time with her niece-Terri, great-nieces-Kerri and Kimmi, great nephew-Kendall Cramer, uncle- Buddy Hicks, and a special friend-Diane Voirol. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday December 9th, 2010 at Sunsets Chapel Mausoleum, with Drew Mentzer officiating. Following the service she will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park. Her wishes were to be cremated. Memorials may be made to the Danville Dialysis Center.
