Joyce M. Lee

Joyce Marie Lee (nee Klomp) crossed over at Carle Hospital on Friday, August 7th, 2015. Born in Chicago on December 16, 1950, she was an alumnae of Evergreen Park High School, the American Academy of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the University of Illinois. Her life passion was art. She also enjoyed sewing, gardening and logic puzzles. Her career was in Social Services as a case worker and administrator for Champaign County Department of Public Aid. Joyce is survived by her devoted husband, Richard; cherished sister, Cathleen Barnes (Doug Worley); brother, Charles (Carol) Klomp; beloved sons, David King, Tom (Robbin) King; and grandchildren; Darrin Lund, Danielle and Maddison Burge. She was preceded in death by parents, William and Virginia (Brady) Klomp; and brothers William S., Francis, Kenneth and David. A private memorial service was held Sunday, August 9th for close friends and family. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Sunset Funeral Home, 710 N. Neil St. in Champaign.
