Joyce Ann Kaminski, 87, of Danville, IL passed away at 2:45 AM on June 29, 2025, at Hawthorne Inn in Danville, IL

Joyce was born on September 4, 1937; the daughter of Benjamin and Ruby (Bain) Cash in Alden (Graysville), AL. She married Donald Kaminski in 1985 in Berwyn, IL and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2000.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Cherie Partain of Hoopeston, IL, five grandchildren, Ashley (James) Rocotello of Danville, IL, Jessica Colasanti of Milford, IL, Jeanine (Aaron Pennington) Partain of Bartlett, TN, Jennifer Partain and Terri Partain of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by one sister, Maggie E. (“Teen”) Oliver of San Antonio, TX, 10 great grandchildren, Anthony, Isabella, Alex, Zackery, Jason, Cody, Caleb, Alyssa, Patrick, Tyson, and several cousins.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald Kaminski, and two children, Dwight Partain and William Partain as well as one brother, Carl Cash.

Joyce retired as an Estimator from Rickard Circular Folding Company in 2000 and enjoyed spending her free time reading, dancing to her favorite country music, watching her crime dramas on television, teaching the great grandkids how to play poker and she loved animals. Most of all, Joyce loved spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren.

She loved everyone with all of her being, danced like no one was watching, and sassed like she didn’t have a care in the world. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all the lives she touched.
