Joyce Hayn

Joyce L. Hayn 84, went home to her heavenly father on March 9, 2025, at Accolade Healthcare of Paxton in Paxton, IL. She was born on February 26, 1941, to Alva D. Knerr and Elsie Kurtz Knerr in Paxton.

She is survived by her daughters, Teri Andel of Champaign, IL. and Julie Miller of Homer, IL. four granddaughters, seven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a grandson, a great grandson, her sisters and a brother.

Joyce was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Gifford. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made in Joyce’s name to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 108 E. Church St. Gifford, IL. 61847 or to her family.

Per Joyce’s wishes, she will be cremated and there will not be any funeral services held.

Cremation has been arranged at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center’s Champaign Chapel 710 N. Neil Street, Champaign, Illinois 61820.
