Joyce Ellyn Bell

GEORGETOWN - Joyce Ellyn Bell, 76, of Georgetown, went to be with her Lord at 10:35 pm on Tuesday, August 10th, 2004, while at home. She was born in Ridge Farm, IL, on October 20th, 1927, the daughter of Noble and Gladys (Lewis) Neubert. She was united in marriage to Paul Bell on November 3rd, 1946, in Ridge Farm, IL. He survives of Georgetown. Others who will miss her include: her children, Jean (Dennis) Duden of Fithian, IL, Carolyn (Terry) Monke of Litchfield, IL, Shirley Bell of Galesburg, IL, Virginia Emond of Clinton, CT, and Connie (Charles) Rhoden of Georgetown, IL; her sister, Ruth Kruse of Grants Pass, OR; her fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Her parents preceded her in death. As a homemaker, Joyce was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Georgetown. She hosted a small study group and had been an Adult Sunday school teacher. During her spare time, she enjoyed painting and sewing. She treasured her family.
