Joyce Ellen Bell

Joyce Ellen Bell, 86, of Georgetown, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018, at The Estates of Spanish Lake, St. Louis, Missouri. Joyce was born August 6, 1932, to Frank and Delena (Elliott) Forbes. She was united in marriage to John Milo Bell on April 22, 1950, until his passing in 2000. She is survived by: a son, John Michael (Phyllis) Bell of Warrenton, MO; grandchildren, Kimberly (Darin) Readnour of Georgetown, IL; Jamie (Brandon) Prosser of O'Fallon, MO; Bryan (Meaghan) Bell and Bradley Bell of Warrenton, MO; great-grandchildren, Logan and Chase Readnour of Georgetown, Morgan and Mason Prosser of O'Fallon, MO, Austin Bell and Zoey Mielke of Warrenton, MO, Emiliee, Abigale and Allison Bell of Montgomery City, MO. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, John; granddaughter, Nicole Michelle Bell; brothers, Bill and Kenneth Forbes. Joyce and John loved to go on RV trips with their motorhome, having been on Holiday Rambler caravans to New England, California and as far away as Alaska. She had been to every state and spent several winters in Florida. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Joyce's life will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West Street, Georgetown with Pastor Troy Horne officiating. Visitation will be 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery.
