Joyce A. Spriesterbach

Covington, Ind. -- Joyce A. Spriesterbach, 74, of Covington, passed away at 8:06 a.m. EDT Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at her residence in Covington. She was born November 3, 1933 in Tell City, Indiana, the daughter of the late Forrest and Pirlie Thompson Kramer. She married Gerald Spriesterbach on January 7, 1953 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He survives. Other survivors include three sons, Michael(Paula)Spriesterbach of Fithian, Illinois; Craig(Jean)Spriesterbach of Cayuga, Indiana and Keith(Nancy)Spriesterbach of Danville, Illinois; nine grandchildren; two great granddaughters; one great grandson; one brother, Charles(Opal)Kramer of Salem, Indiana. Joyce was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Kramer. Joyce was a self-employed pilot car driver for oversize truck loads. She attended the Baptist Church. Joyce was a 1951 graduate of Tell City High School. She loved spending time with her family. Funeral services: 1 p.m. EDT Saturday, October 11, 2008 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Burial: Lower Mound Cemetery north of Perrysville, Indiana; Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. EDT Friday, October 10, 2008 at the funeral home.
