Joyce A Hickman

Joyce Ann Hickman, 68 of Danville, passed away at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2012 after a short illness. She was born on August 5th, 1944 in Bloomington, IN to Don Elmo and Helen Gertrud (Brown) Brosman. She is survived by a sister, Norma (Sue) Smith, a Brother, Don L. (Bertha) Brosman of Danville, IL, a grandson, James Allen Hickman of Champaign, IL, a sister-in-law, Margaret A Brown of Danville, IL., several nieces and nephews and her special friends, Bill and Sharon Baker of Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, John Richard Hickman II, a brother, Louis (Pete) Brown, 2 sisters, Hilda Taylor and Eva Brosman, a brother in law, Kenneth W. Smith Sr. and a nephew, Edward (Eddie) E. Hyatt. She was employed by General Electric until it closed, then Sun Bridge as a CNA until 2005. Per her wishes, she will be cremated at Sunset Cremation Center with no services. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home is handling arrangements.
