Joy J. Fauver Haglund, 64, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Danville, died at Bethesda Medical Center in Boynton Beach on Sunday May 21st, 2006 after a period of failing health. She was surrounded by her loving family when she died. She was born on June 27, 1941 in Danville the daughter of Ralph and Naomi (Pichon) Miller. She lived in Danville before moving to Florida in 1991. She was the former wife of Richard Gene Fauver who preceded her in death in October of 1986. She married Stephan B. Haglund on December 24, 1997, he still survives. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. She was best known for her natural cooking abilities, which many recipes she would invent or make from scratch. She was also known for her avid cake decorating talent, especially making wedding cakes for her children, family and friends. She worked for Health Communications Inc. in Deerfield Beach, FL for ten years and retired this past January 2006. She also worked various other jobs such as Cross Points, licensed home daycare provider, Fisher Real Estate, Chuckles and her fathers machine shop. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Danville for many years and taught Sunday school and helped with the Awana Program. She is survived by her loving husband Steve, her three children: Jody (Martin) Wendt of Kittery, ME, Jeff (Susan) Fauver of Catlin, IL, Jamie (Rachid) El-Bouaissi of Orlando, FL, one step daughter, Jennette (Steve) Mickol of Pompano Beach, FL, three sisters: Kay (Gary) Boggess of Georgetown, IL, Shirley Denhart of Danville, Connie Marble of Texas; nine grandchildren: Misty, Benjamin, Lesley, Clayton, Colton, Caleb, Linzi, Stephen and Nicholas, many nieces, nephews and cousins and also her beloved pets: Muffie, Clifford, Princess and MeChee. Joy was preceded in death by her parents: Ralph and Naomi; and in-laws: Gene and Madelene Fauver
