Josephine M. Prouty

Reverend Josephine M. Prouty, 82, of Danville passed away at 10:00AM Wednesday October 19, 2004 at her residence. She was born to Joseph and Bernice (Carrao) Giglio on February 13, 1922 in Danville. She married Lee Prouty on April 1, 1943 in Danville. He survives. Survivors include three daughters Jo Ann Adams and Linda Daily, both of Danville, and Kathy (John) Skerrett of Bishop, CA, survive Josephine. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and her many friends, her church members from Danville, Champaign, Westville, Catlin and Hoopeston. Her parents preceded her in death. Reverend Prouty was pastor of the Holy Communion Chapel in Batestown since 1982, and a member for thirty-one years. She loved her all her church members and would do anything to help them.
