Josephine E. Anderson 83 of Pinellas Park, Florida formerly of Danville died at 8:30 p.m. February 24, 2005 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital, Pasadena, Florida. She was born November 9, 1921 in Danville the daughter of Ray and Mabel Ott Huffman. She married Marvin E. Anderson on July 27, 1941 in Fairmount, IL. Josephine is survived by a son Terry B. Anderson of Danville, a sister Bernice McCoy of Danville, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Bruce, her parents and a brother Dale Huffman. Josephine and her husband owned and operated Andersons Ice Cream Parlor in Rossville, IL. She retired from Broderick Real Estate, Pinellas Park, Florida as a sales Associate. While in Danville Josephine was involved in P.T.A and was actively involved with Second Church of Christ. She helped to found the Christian Fellowship Sunday School Class. She was a member and past president of the Mainland's of Tamarac unit II singles club and women's club. She enjoyed organizing monthly trips and luncheons for both clubs. She also was a member of the Red Hatters Society. An active member of Seminole Christian Church, Josephine enjoyed helping others and was involved in Missions, Josephine loved to entertain in her home and had numerous friends who enjoyed her friendship and company.
