Joseph P. Palmer

Westville, IL- Joseph P. Palmer, 66, of Westville, IL died at 10:53 AM, February 3, 2013 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born on January 9, 1947 in the Township of Neptune, NJ to Paul and Elizabeth Jean Townsend Palmer. He was preceded in death by a wife. Mr. Palmer had no living family, but he is survived by two special friends, Charlene Berkley and Sue Hagan; Charlene's family, Rick Loschen, Harold Loschen, Diana Loschen, and Rob Weiser; all of Charlene's grand and great-grandchildren who loved Joseph very much; and a special little boy, Bryson Warren that he loved very much. Joseph loved all of Charlene's family as they did him, and took him in as part of their own. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Joseph Palmer will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at First Assembly of God in Danville where Mr. Palmer was a member. Pastor Dave Rumley will officiate. Cremation rites are being accorded through Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville.
