Joseph M. Barnard

Joseph M. Barnard Jr., 84, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at home, in Fairmount, IL. He was born on March 28, 1936 the son of Joseph and Florence Barnard in Chicago, IL.

Joseph leaves behind his companion of four years, Karen Oehlsen; four children; and a sister, Rosemary Kazak. He is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter.

Joseph was an active member of the Sidney United Church and he enjoyed playing Bridge and Euchre. He also enjoyed being on the computer.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 has been entrusted with arrangements. Per Josephs wishes he will be cremated. Memorial donations may be made in Josephs name to Sidney United Church, 501 E. Main St. Sidney, IL 61877 or Antioch Baptist Church Food Bank, 311 N. Collett Street, Danville, IL 61832.
