Edgar Springs, Missouri - Joseph "Joe" Leslie Bush, 75, of Edgar Springs and formerly of Lodi, Indiana, passed away at 8:20 a.m. CDT Thursday, September 1, 2011. He was born January 20, 1936 in Lodi, Indiana the son of the late Richard and Elizabeth I. Drake Bush. He married Frances G. Coletta on July 12, 1958 in Niagara Falls, New York. She preceded him in death on May 14, 1996. He later married Betty Martin. She survives. Other survivors include his children, Cheryl E.(Carter)LeFon of St. James, Missouri; Terri(David)Hastings of Moscow Mills, Missouri; Richard J.(Danette)Bush of Edgar Springs, Missouri and Bradley A.(Sandy)Bush of California, Missouri; six grandchildren, Courtney, Tera Lynn, Jessica, Megan, Eric and Corey; three great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Joe was preceded in death by four brothers, Bud, Byron, Dick and Gary Bush; sister, Valerie Nelson. Joe was a member of the Pipefitters Local 661 of Muncie, Indiana, Free Masons of Redkey, Indiana and the Local Democratic Committee of Phelps County, Missouri. Funeral services: 11 a.m. EDT Thursday, September 8, 2011 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. William Lehman; Burial: Miller Cemetery in Lodi, Indiana with Masonic graveside rites; Visitation: One hour prior to services on Thursday, September 8, 2011.
