Joseph Chapman

Joseph Evan Chapman, 14, of Westville passed away after a long battle with Leukemia at 5:35 p.m. Friday July 17, 2009 at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on April 17, 1995 in Danville, IL the son of Joseph B. and Rhonda Kearbey Chapman. Survivors include: his mother Rhonda Chapman of Westville; his father Joseph (Shelby) Chapman of Ellaville, GA; three sisters, Brittany (Shaun) Neal of Westville, Hillary Chapman of Westville, and Kaelynn Chapman of Ellaville, GA; two brothers, Benjamin and Evan Chapman of Ellaville, GA; maternal grandma, Mary Nose of Newport, IN; maternal grandfather, Jack (Sandra) Kearbey of Ellaville, GA, maternal great grandmother, Ruby Grimsley; paternal grandma Patsy Icard and paternal Grandfather, Benny Chapman; nieces and nephews, Alahna, Kaleb, Kameron, Steven; Uncles, Shane (Michelle) Kearbey of Ridge Farm and Ernie Green; Aunt Charmon Chapman of Ellaville; cousin Tyler and many other aunts, uncles, and Cousins. He was preceded in death by one brother Jarrett and his uncle Gary Halstead. Joseph graduated from Westville Junior High this past May. He loved watching Nascar and playing his Playstation and his computer. He loved watching the History Channel. He was very outgoing and loved having fun. He never met anybody he didnt like.
