Jordon M. Buck, 31, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017. He was born on March 26, 1986 to Joseph and Louise (Schafer) Buck. Jordon has been working at Quaker Oats in the maintenance department. Jordon enjoyed hunting and sports. He loved playing PIG with his daughter Ryleigh, watching or playing softball, baseball, basketball and hockey. He also enjoyed trips down to the river with his family in their Gator. Some of his favorite teams were the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Blackhawks. Jordon was known as a hardworking family man. When he wasn't working he spent his free time with his family and the people he loved. Jordon especially loved his children. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Kayla (Moore) Buck; two children, Ryleigh and Easton Buck; two brothers, Jason (Mandy) Buck and John (Jill) Shutes; and two sisters, Jennifer (Jared) Harris and Jamie (Rodney) Judy and many nieces and nephews. Jordon is preceded in death by his grandparents; Gordon (Margery) Buck and John (Sara) Schafer, his uncle Larry Buck, also his cousin Jacob Spicer. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Cremation will take place after service with a private burial at a later date. Visitation will be held the evening prior on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 2 to 6 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Jordon's name to help his children's financial future.
