John Schlorff

John K. Schlorff 83, of Champaign, Illinois passed away at VA Illiana Healthcare in Danville, Illinois on January 18, 2021. He was born in Champaign on December 15, 1937 the son of Royal and Alta Schlorff. In 1964 John married Ollie Jones, his wife of 56 years, together they have two children, Michael (Anna Bates) and Michele Davis. He is also survived by his grandson, Cameron Mahannah.

John proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a postal carrier retiring after 34 years of employment. He was a member of First Christian Church of Champaign, he loved listening to music, going on walks, telling jokes and going to the pool. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Winifred Sanders, Charlotte Lambdin and Donna Short.
