John Samuel Miller

John Samuel Miller, 74, of Brooksville, FL. Died at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 in Dease Lake, British Columbia, Canada. He was born February 20, 1932 in Danville the son of John Samuel and Elsie Margaret (Flaharty) Miller. He married Margaret Walge Wills in 1953 in Danville. She preceded him in death on January 30, 1999. John is survived by his brother: Earl Miller; five step-sons: John, Jim, Bill, Donnie, and Terry Wills; one step daughter: Sally Hamlin; seven nieces: Margaret Dawn, Edith Reay, Kathy Jones, Elizabeth Miller, Andrea Fierro, Debra Carson, and Michelle Gates; his companion: Marie Collins; and good friend Grady Collins. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one step son: Danny, one step daughter: Ellen and one brother: Robert A. Miller. John graduated from Danville High School. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He worked with aluminum siding, as a brick layer and as a roofer in Florida. He retired as a construction worker. John enjoyed any kind of mechanical and building work he could do in his shop. He loved to ride motorcycles, travel, boating and fishing. He also liked going to flea markets.
