John Paul Eads

Danville- John Paul Eads, 66, of Danville passed away at 7:40 AM on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at his residence. He was born on August 3, 1944 in Brocton, IL to James Chadwick and Ethel Caldwell Eads. He married Betty Jean Spence on October 6, 1985 in Danville. She survives. He is also survived by four daughters Cindy (Brian Carnaghie) Trimble, Paula Hillery, Lisa Boen, and Tammy (Tim Gummere) Anderson; step-daughter Tammy (David) Bugle; 10 grandchildren Natasha, Tabitha, Dustin, Cassidy, Elyse, Dalton, Kim, J.P., Josh, and Jacob; great-grandkids; brother and sisters Evelyn (William) Merritt, James (Andrea) Eads, Miriam (Don) Coslet, Dorothy Wenner, Shirley (Paul) Vrablic, Mary Frances (Bob McGraugh) Richards, Loretta Hamilton, and Margerie (Randy) Knoblauch; and special-friends, you know who you are. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Joshua. John had worked in auto sales, Danville Metal Stamping, and built engines for race cars, which he had also owned. He enjoyed racing, especially NASCAR, but also liked to fish, camp, and play poker. John loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandkids. Animals held a special place in his heart, mostly his dogs Harley, Bucky, Blondie, and Pipsqueak the cat. A memorial service to celebrate the life of John Eads will be held at 6 PM on Friday, December 3, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Pastor C.W. Greer will officiate. Johns family will greet friends from 3-6 PM, prior to the services at Sunset. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
