John Karl

John A. Karl, 91, of Westville, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at this home. He was born on May 19, 1922, in Danville to Valentine John and Theresa Marie {Faulstich} Karl, both deceased. He was married to Ester on June 24, 1959, in Danville. She survives. He is also survived by: his step sons, Steve Cole & James (Diane) Cole, both of Danville; his many nieces & nephews; and his many friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Zita Noll & Margaret Poland. John worked for 31 years as a Millwright at Danville Metal Stamping. He was a member of the Pleasure Riders Club which he really enjoyed. He also liked using his Ham Radio. He also enjoyed gardening and visiting with friends & family. A celebration of John's life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to his service. He will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery, Danville. Memorial donations may be given in his name to Donor's Choice.
