In 2005, John remarried Barbara Pierce of Danville, IL. They enjoyed many special times together such as the ministry work and attending special Bible assemblies every year. Barbara will truly miss him. The most memorable day of John's life was when he dedicated himself as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on July 10, 1993. He had pure excitement in his ministry when it came to sharing truths from the Bible. Also, John had a wonderful privilege of performing his ministry in the local prison. He always reflected on God's hope for the future. Everyone will truly miss John's zeal, warm heart, and positive thinking. A Celebration of Life memorial service for John will be held on June 22, 2013 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on 619 East Voorhees, Danville, IL at 1:00 PM with Clarence Rudolph officiating. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville are in charge of arrangements.
