John Helmken

John R. Helmken, 52, of Westville passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018. He was born on June 8, 1966 in San Diego, CA, the son of John & Hilda Helmken. He was united in marriage to Dawn Hahn on August 4, 1990, she survives. He will be dearly missed by his mother, Hilda; sons, Tyler & Garet Helmken. He was preceded in death by his father, John & sister, LeeAnn Cox. John has been an Electrician for over 30 years. He enjoyed anything Star Trek & riding his motorcycle. He loved spending time with is family. A Visitation will be from 9:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion, Danville.
