John 'Frank' Jaggers

John "Frank" Jaggers, age 64 of Westville, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 7:00 AM at his home with his family by his side. He was born January 1, 1951 in Clinton, IN the son of Fredrick and Juanita (Edmenston) Jaggers. Frank married Karen Powell on January 26, 1975 in Oakwood. She survives and will miss him tremendously. Also surviving are his daughters, Jodi (Tim) Brant of Westville and Christal Jaggers of Georgetown; grandchildren, Dylan Jaggers and Caden, Chloe, and Connor Brant; sister, Carol (Terry) Barney of Westville; brother, Larry (Terri) Jaggers of Danville as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Frank served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. He then worked for General Motors retiring in July of 2004. After retiring he worked for NAPA Auto parts for 9 years. Frank was a member of the Westville Legion Post #51 and UAW Local 579. In his spare time Frank liked to be outdoors fishing, hunting, mushroom and ginseng hunting, and electronics. His children and grandchildren have many fond memories of going along and looking for ginseng. Frank enjoyed working BINGO at the UAW Hall. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. A Celebration of Frank's Life will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel. Pastor Mark Keyser will officiate. He will be laid to rest in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Military honors will be performed by the Westville American Legion Post #51. Visitation will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Memorials in Frank's name can be made to the Westville American Legion Post #51.
