John Frahm

Danville - John Frahm Sr., 59, of Danville, passed away on January 7, 2014. He was born April 22, 1954 in Danville, IL the son of Herman Dean and Elizabeth Ann (Foehrer) Frahm. He was married to Kathie Jumps in Danville, Kathie preceded him in death in 2011. He is survived by his son John Frahm Jr.; his brothers Larry, Scott, and Kevin Frahm; his sister Annie (Albert) Parker; his grandson Joseph Michael Frahm; and his significant other, companion, and friend Debbie Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents. John was a foreman for local union #93 he was a roofer, he was good at his job, and he was proud of it too. John loved animals, he would often be found with his partner Debbie in Forest Glen watching deer. John also enjoyed riding around the woods on his four-wheeler; and sitting around the fire with his friends. John loved helping people; he was part of a group that would build ramps for handicapped people so they could get into their houses easier. Above all else, John loved his family and he will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known him. A celebration of Johns life will be held at 11am on Friday January 10, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. A visitation will be held on Friday January 10, 2014 from 10am to 11am at the funeral home.
