John F. 'Jack' Lehmann

John F. Jack Lehmann 86 of Danville passed away at 4:10 PM Saturday September 10, 2005 at Danville Care Center. He was born July 12, 1919 in Danville the son of John F.SR and Mary Phillips Lehmann. He married Lorraine A. Kuehl on June 20, 1944 she survives also two sons; Jeffrey A. (Linda) Lehmann of Houston TX, J. Randall (Susan) Lehmann of Newburgh, In, Six grandchildren; J. Brandon Lehmann of Tuckwilla WA, J. Kyle and Justin Reed Lehmann both of Newburgh, IN, Lora Bergeron, Lindsay Janek and Lisa Lehmann all of Houston, TX, two great-grandchildren; Ryan Bergeron and Jackson Janek of Houston, TX, Two brothers; Archie Lehmann and Glenn (Barbara) Lehmann both of Danville and one sister Beverly Wood of Danville. He was preceded by his parents. Jack and his brothers owned and operated the Ace Hardware store on Hazel Street in Danville for 36 years. Jack enjoyed playing golf and was a charter member of the Vermilion Hills Country Club. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, past member of the Danville Barber Shop Chorus. He had served in the U.S Army for five years and three of the years in Kodiak Island in Alaska and then in Pattons 3rd Army in Germany.
