John E. Replogle

Champaign, Ill. - John E. Replogle, 67, of Champaign, passed away at 2:40 p.m. CST Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, Illinois. John was born April 29, 1946 in Kankakee, Illinois the son of the late Alice T. Dancanski Replogle and William Replogle. He married Roni Jane Byerly on June 1, 1991 in Kingman, Indiana. She survives. Other survivors include one sister, Julie(Russ)Johnson of Momence, Illinois; father-in-law, Ronald E. Byerly of Crawfordsville, Indiana; sister-in-law, Cindi(Jerry)Burton of Columbia, Kentucky; brother-in-law, Clayton(Bobbie)Byerly of Kingman, Indiana; special friends, Jean Lear; Sara Buttjer and son, Josh and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. John was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Louetta M. "Tottie" Byerly and his dog, Nickie. John was currently working as a technician for Orkin and was a former store manager at Wareco, both in Champaign. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the United States Navy. John was a member of the Harvest Church in Urbana, Illinois. He enjoyed watching wrestling, his dog Sophie and spending time with his wife, Roni Jane.
