Danville - John Cochran, 66, of Danville, passed away suddenly on January 20, 2014. He was born September 23, 1947 in Fremont, OH the son of John and Florine Cook Cochran. He was married to Shirley Trunka on October 6, 1982 in Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife Shirley Cochran; and his special friends Sally and Stan Hogsett and Lou and Mimi Reitemeier. He was preceded in death by his parents. John was a graduate of Ohio State and Ball State University, where he graduated with a 3.78 GPA. He loved woodworking and was very creative. John enjoyed spending time on his computer; especially watching kitten and cat videos. John was a world traveler with his consulting business; going as far as Chile and Alaska. He enjoyed gourmet cooking as well as making very creative and delicious pies; he was known for his pear pie. John is now with his beloved cat “Midnight” and he will be sorely missed by his devoted wife Shirley. A private family service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville.
