John A. Anderson

John A. Anderson, 73, of Georgetown, passed away at 12:00pm, Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living, Chrisman. He was born on January 27, 1947, in Chicago, IL, the son of Robert and Joan {Rothgeb} Anderson. He was married to Elsie Osborn on August 21, 2015. She will miss him dearly.

John is also survived by his mother, Joan of Danville; his brother, Wesley Anderson of Springfield; his stepchildren, Terry Stevenson, Eddie (Darlene) Souders, Amanda Souders, and Melissa (Dale) Williams; 10 step grandchildren; and 12 great step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, and a step grandchild.

John was a proud Veteran of the US Navy. He enjoyed visiting with friends and loved his family. He will be remembered by all who loved him.

Private family services will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846.
