Georgetown - Joann Rutledge, 82, of Georgetown passed away at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. Joann was born on June 11, 1934 the daughter of Ralph and Eva (Kuykendall) Martin. In 1952 Joann married William Ray Irons, he precedes her in death. In 1993 Joann married Ernest Rutledge, he survives. Joann is survived by her sons, William Lee (Janet) Irons, Ralph Steven (Leigh) Irons, Charles Ray Irons, daughter, Vicki Anderson and step-children, Donna (Matt) Powell, Michael (Marian) Rutledge, brothers, Kenneth (Nancy) Martin, Paul (Jerry) Martin, Bob (Diane) Martin, as well as many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Joann Worked for many years at Bohn Aluminum and was a receptionist for the State's Attorney. She enjoyed gardening, loved traveling, was a long-time member of the First Church of Christ in Georgetown, served as treasurer for Legion Post 203, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of life for Joann will be held at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion Danville, Il. on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Raymie Gordon will be officiating. A visitation will be held an hour prior from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Entombment will be at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Carle Auxiliary Guest House in Champaign, Il.
